“4th of July” the song and video

After completing “Mustache Life” (Mustache Anthem) House of DON Productions has decided to keep doing these videos. It was som much fun and has lightened the mood of the entire process of producing. With that being said we are planning our next song and video called “4th of July”. You probably guessed that the theme is Christmas…. NOT. Of course the theme is Independence Day and we hope to make it a fun video.

The song is composed of a beat from Nicki Minaj’s album “Pink Friday” called “Did it on ‘em” and Don Ash uses in part some lyrics from the Katy Perry song “Firework”. Performing the song is Don Ash, Zacman and Nikadermus. Producing and mixing the track is done by Don Ash.

The song in whole is going to be fun and explosive, we hope you check it out when it is done and we hope you enjoy it.

On May 13, 2011 four men set out on a trip to Big Bear, California. Three of these men had grown mustaches and were excited about their trip to the mountain, it was a trip for real men, men with mustaches. These four guys decided during their embark up to the mountain that the only thing that could make Mustache May better than going to Big Bear with Mustaches would be to go to Big Bear with Mustaches and start writing the “Mustache Life” song and video. Recorded on May 16th, edited on May 19th and released on May 20th, you have “Mustache Life”.

Part 1 will be done

Its taken a minute for me (Don Ash – DJ and Producer) to get Part 1 of my Apocalypse Mix together. I have already released Part 2 and Part 3, so why hasn’t Part 1 been out by now? Part 1 is not your typical EDM mix, its more of an introduction to the down fall of humanity and is symbolized through the tracks I use with this genre. I dont even know what to call the genre other than inde. These tracks were not easy to put together and made for a difficult time, but I think I got it now. I have completed the tracklist and will record it ASAP.

As a DJ and Producer I only want to release things that I feel are up to the Don Ash code of excellence, though not everyone may enjoy the same taste of music and Part 1 is of an acquired taste, I hope you can appreciate the trouble it was to compile these tracks and make the flow of music into a steady story of “The Decent”. I will be releasing this mix on Monday, December 20, 2010 without anymore delay. I hope you download it and enjoy it.
